Nicki Minaj and SZA engaged in a Twitter/X conflict overnight (July 16th).

Nicki Minaj started the drama by calling out Punch, alleging that he was bullying her online.

“I’m so glad I have proof of being bullied by a man and publicly misrepresented,” Nicki tweeted, “on a platform I use for my WORK after turning down his business offer multiple times.”

SZA seemed to catch wind of this and subtly targeted Nicki Minaj with a cryptic message: “Mercury retrograde... don’t fall for it lol silly goose.”

Nicki's fanbase, the Barbz, quickly reacted, prompting her to respond: “Go redraw your freckles, bookie.”

Infuriated, she escalated her comments about SZA’s appearance: “B—h looking and sounding like she just got stung by a f–king bee. Dot dot dot *Draws on my fake freckles.*”

Nicki Minaj also pointed to her sales figures, asserting her greater popularity compared to SZA: “B—h released a whole new album as a deluxe to an existing album that had been out for a year or two, just so the original album could break records. What kind of insecure lack of morals and integrity is that? I thought she was a real artist? Girl bye.”

Wait. Does SZA think she’s more successful than me? Lol, can someone update me? SZA, if every song you’ve ever made disappeared right now, the music industry wouldn’t even notice. I've visited countries where nobody knows you. I hope you’re not that naive, are you? Stadiums? Did you... pic.twitter.com/0fKGvT1Zow— Nicki Minaj (@NICKIMINAJ) July 16, 2025

SZA didn’t address Nicki directly but did affirm her value. “I’m bullied by millions online daily and still step out on a packed stadium tour where people show me REAL love. IN REAL LIFE,” SZA posted on X. “My parents are healthy and I’m more successful than ever. GET SOME F–KING PERSPECTIVE and BARK AT THE WALL!!!”
