Just a few weeks after their significant headline performance in London at Crystal Palace Park, Deftones have unveiled details about their upcoming album, ‘private music’. The Sacramento band will drop their tenth album, following their 2020 release ‘Ohms’, on 22nd August through Reprise/Warner Records. This album marks their third collaboration with producer Nick Raskulinecz, with whom they previously worked on 2010's ‘Diamond Eyes’ and 2012's ‘Koi No Yokan’. The new album will feature eleven tracks and was recorded in various locations, including Malibu, Joshua Tree, and Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to this announcement, the band has released the album’s lead single, ‘my mind is a mountain’, and revealed plans for a major UK and European tour. Scheduled for early 2026, the tour includes nine shows across mainland Europe, followed by six arena performances in the UK, concluding at The O2 in London.
