The Scottish duo The Cords have announced their plans for a self-titled debut album.

The band, comprised of sisters Eva and Grace, draws from the rich legacy of Scottish Indie Pop, reminiscent of bands like The Shop Assistants and The Vaselines, while infusing their own unique sound.

The Cords’ initial singles created a buzz in the indie pop scene, leading them to record their debut album with Jonny Scott (CHVRCHES).

Finished in just six days, the self-titled album will be launched on September 26th, as a collaboration between Slumberland and Skep Wax.

Their exciting new single ‘Fabulist’ is now available—a bold, catchy piece of twee-pop, and it can also be purchased as a limited edition lathe cut 6″ vinyl.
