Sienna Spiro has released her latest single ‘You Stole The Show.’
With a fresh sound infused with classic influences, Sienna's debut EP ‘SINK NOW, SWIM LATER’ has taken the internet by storm, amassing over 75 million Spotify streams to date.
A true emerging talent, Sienna is handling her success gracefully. She is set to embark on a UK tour this September, with a significant headline performance at London’s iconic KOKO venue on September 10th.
Prior to this, her new single ‘You Stole The Show’ is available now via Capitol Records. The rich musical style evokes images of old Hollywood, while also exhibiting a sharp British influence in the nuances of her voice.
Embracing her independence, the lyrics reflect Sienna’s endeavor to own her narrative.
In a striking performance, she introduces the song by stating…
‘You Stole the Show’ is a track I composed that delves into the theme of performance—not just as an artist, but also as an individual, and the various ways we ‘perform’ in our personal lives. The song was inspired by an experience I had during my last tour when I realized many of my songs revolve around a person who is no longer in my life.
During each performance, I would try to imagine myself back in the moment that inspired the songs—singing them with deep conviction and emotion. In doing so, I became overwhelmed at the thought of him being in the audience each night, and I would fantasize about what I hoped or envisioned would happen if he were actually there. That inspiration is what led to the creation of this song and how it all came together. I’m excited for you to hear it.
Tune in now.
