Muddy Elephant Returns With ‘Stay Toxic’

"Embracing our imperfections with a smile..."

On July 28, 2025, the Manchester band Muddy Elephant released their latest single, 'Stay Toxic'.

With an energetic indie vibe, their sound combines both classic and contemporary influences. A listen to their recent singles reveals hints of The Driver Era’s liveliness, mixed with the punchy sound of Circa Waves.

Muddy Elephant wraps up a fantastic summer with 'Stay Toxic', a playful indie anthem that encourages embracing one's imperfections.

The catchy chorus evokes The 1975, while the lyrics humorously address our everyday blunders, infusing some lighthearted self-deprecation into the mix.

Following performances with Busted, The Darkness, and The Hunna, the band is clearly gaining momentum, and 'Stay Toxic' is sure to please their fans.

Produced by Adam Lempriere, the band describes their new single...

The track playfully acknowledges those times we knowingly engage in slightly mischievous behavior—indulgent or cheekily ‘toxic’ in the everyday sense. There’s no guilt here, just a playful nod to our more impetuous sides.

‘Stay Toxic’ focuses less on moralizing and more on celebrating our flaws with a smile. It serves as a catchy anthem for anyone who's made a minor mistake and thought, ‘Well, that’s me’. Our goal was to transform self-awareness into an earworm while turning toxicity into a place of comfort.

      Tune in now.
