Mexican composer Silvana Estrada will unveil her new album ‘Vendrán Suaves Lluvias’ on October 17th.
A talented multi-instrumentalist, Silvana gained international recognition with her debut album 'Marchita' in 2022.
Taking her time to refine her next project, Silvana will present a new studio album this Autumn.
‘Vendrán Suaves Lluvias’ will be launched on October 17th through Glassnote Records, showcasing a rich song cycle created in locations including Montréal, Barcelona, and Mexico City.
Beyond her musical abilities, the title of Silvana’s upcoming album is inspired by the 1918 poem ‘There Will Come Soft Rains’ by Sara Teasdale.

‘Vendrán Suaves Lluvias’ is the album that has evolved over the last two to three years. The songs emerged gradually, some originating during the pandemic, while others came more recently. It reflects my journey to discover myself and my vital energy. This project was born out of an effort to transform discomfort into hope, continuing to seek the light even amid anger.
From start to finish, I aimed to create a journey that connects us with joy and movement. I wanted strength and hope to be the central theme of the album.
A new single titled ‘Dime’ is available now – sonically stunning, the rich arrangement was developed with Owen Pallett, yet it is propelled by Silvana’s impressive artistry.
