London-based group Good Time Locomotive has released their new single ‘Daylight.’
The band was formed during the height of the lockdown, initiating their first writing sessions on Zoom. This may explain the sense of yearning for freedom present in their music, as their songwriting is imbued with light and positivity.
Making their debut in early 2023, the band offered a promising EP last year, reminiscent of the early singles from The 1975 or the notable indie band Blossoms.
Their latest single ‘Daylight’ marks another step in their ascent, designed to be a festival anthem. Produced alongside Grammy Award-winning producer Adrian Bushby (known for work with Muse, Foo Fighters, U2), it presents a vibrant mix of indie-disco infused with soulful elements.
A catchy alt-pop track, ‘Daylight’ revolves around breaking free from worries; it’s an energetic song that showcases Good Time Locomotive’s undeniable potential.
