South London artist cktrl has announced the upcoming release of his new album titled ‘Spirit.’

The versatile musician made his comeback with the recent single ‘Balance,’ which Clash described as “Freeform, tranquil, lush.”

Now, he’s ready to take it a step further. The new album ‘Spirit’ is set to launch on September 19th, through the esteemed boutique label R&R.

In a message, cktrl expresses his gratitude for the patience and support from the community, stating, “art takes time & we’re all we have in this time too…”

The fresh single ‘rush’ is out now, delivering a cross-genre anthem of freedom that reflects the nature of the Black experience. With its sharp strings and rich horns, the track immerses listeners in sound, urging them to explore its depths.

“Our spirit is our light, and without it, it’s just dark,” cktrl shares.
