The new album ‘CAOS’ will be released on October 23rd.
Just a few days after revealing his fifth studio album, GRAMMY Award-winning artist Miguel has released the powerful new single ‘New Martyrs (Ride 4 U)’ through ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records.
Earlier this week, Miguel announced his return by debuting the album’s title track via S1C, his creative incubator and brand platform aimed at empowering multi-hyphenates within the Black, Brown, and Latin communities. This decision, much like his music, emphasizes Miguel’s determination to maintain control over his own narrative.
‘New Martyrs (Ride 4 U)’ tells a tale about taking initiative to communicate a message—strong and vulnerable at the same time. The track acts as a catalyst for broader discussions surrounding systemic inequalities, the decline of political systems, and their far-reaching effects on human freedom.
Miguel presents the song as both a personal reflection and a universal commentary; addressing what it means to take action, even when such actions may seem radical. He has made it clear that his criticism will extend beyond politics, openly discussing the injustices he has encountered within the corporate music industry.
