Iron Maiden will host a “special” headline concert in the UK in 2026.
The band’s ongoing RUN FOR YOUR LIVES tour has become a major event, attracting a massive crowd to Iron Maiden’s remarkable headline performances. The legendary metal band continues to push boundaries and has recently announced additional shows for 2026.
With a busy schedule ahead, Iron Maiden is set to take on several headline performances before taking a break in 2027 from live shows to recharge.
More festival dates will be announced in the upcoming weeks, with initial locations including Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, and additional countries.
A “special” UK concert is scheduled for July 11th, with Iron Maiden’s long-term manager Rod Smallwood stating:
You may notice that the schedule below simply indicates UK SHOW for July 11th, and there is a good reason for this! We are preparing something unique for our devoted UK fans, including a continuation of our Eddie’s Dive Bar concept that we introduced last year…so stay tuned!
In addition to this, Iron Maiden will return to the Paris La Défense Arena on June 22nd, and this performance will be recorded “for you and for posterity,” according to the manager. “We chose an indoor stadium to showcase the best of our production and also because Paris has always had a fantastic audience for us. So we decided to make a comeback to Paris and hope the fans still want to see us! This will mark our 31st performance in Paris, which has always held a special place for us since we first arrived there with KISS in 1980!”

The initial European dates are listed below – here’s a complete statement from Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris –
We are all thrilled with the RUN FOR YOUR LIVES TOUR. The fans have been incredible, the set list is ideal for the 50th Anniversary, the show is arguably our best ever, and ticket demand has been overwhelming, with nearly every location sold out and over a million fans in attendance. Therefore, we thought we should add more shows in Europe before heading to other parts of the world later this year.
Of course, Simon Dawson will be back on drums, and both he and the entire band would like to express our gratitude to our fans for the warm welcome you have extended to him during the first leg of the tour.
We’ve always loved performing at festivals, especially as we get to reach audiences who aren’t exclusively there for us, and we enjoy that challenge! So, we decided to return to as many fantastic metal festivals as possible during this period. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to perform in stadiums in Greece, Romania, Slovakia, and Bulgaria where we didn’t get a chance this year and have always enjoyed entertaining the passionate fans there.
