Making a stylish return, Demob Happy has just released ‘Who Should I Say Is Calling?’ - a catchy track filled with attitude that serves as a follow-up to their 2023 album ‘Divine Machines’. The single was recorded at Rancho De La Luna studio in Joshua Tree with Dave Catching (Queens Of The Stone Age, Eagles Of Death Metal) and has been released through Demob’s own label, Milk Parlour Records, marking their first new release in nearly two years. Frontman Matthew Marcantonio described the song as “a conversation between me and myself; all the parts I aimed to eradicate - the mischievous energy I believed was detrimental. But it pushed back, insisting that a bit of that is necessary for writing rock and roll - so it becomes a tribute to both.” Check out our 2023 feature with Demob regarding ‘Divine Machines’ and listen to ‘Who Should I Say Is Calling?’ below.
