In anticipation of her third studio album, ‘There’s Always More That I Could Say’ (set to release on October 24th via Island / EMI), Sigrid has unveiled a new track titled ‘Two Years’ - an upbeat song that showcases her experimentation with shifting lyrical perspectives from first to second person. “I aimed to understand the situation from another person’s viewpoint,” explained the Scandi pop star regarding her decision, “which allowed me to also reflect on my own viewpoint.” Co-written in Tokyo with her regular collaborator Askjell, ‘Two Years’ is the third single from the forthcoming album, following ‘Fort Knox’ and ‘Jellyfish.’ Together, these three tracks capture a spectrum of emotions, from love to sorrow, embodied in ‘There’s Always More That I Could Say.’ Check out the lyric video for ‘Two Years’ below.
