Django Django makes their return to the club with a new track titled ‘Temple Dogs’.
The track has been released and is included in ‘SUN GOD FRAUD SQUAD’, a multi-artist compilation. This concept was originally commissioned and produced to complement the exhibition Ring Of Truth, which took place in August 2025 at Edinburgh’s Blackie House Museum.
The project is set to have a full release through OUTPUTS, the record label and curatorial platform established by artists Haroon Mirza and Jack Jelfs. Artists and musicians such as Nik Colk Void, Lucy Armstrong, Haroon Mirza, Django Django, and others have contributed material.
Drawing inspiration from a mysterious 5th-century manuscript and the divine notion of The Music Of The Spheres, the first fully released track is ‘Temple Dogs’ by Django Django.
With a half-step beat reminiscent of FWD in 2008, the track’s sharp production brings it firmly into contemporary sound; true to Django Django, psych-pop influences subtly weave through the mix.
