"Music has the power to improve situations..."
UK producer Tourist has released his new single ‘Veil’ in its entirety.
This single marks the beginning of Tourist’s upcoming album ‘Music Is Invisible’, which presents a personal exploration, featuring ambient composer Julianna Barwick.
Currently available for pre-order, Tourist's latest track surprises listeners by sampling an older work from Grimes.
By incorporating elements from her song ‘So Heavy I Fell Through the Earth’, ‘Veil’ delivers a self-reflective message about how music can influence your emotions.
The production, infused with trance elements, evokes a euphoric sensation, almost lifting listeners physically. “Trance is a remarkable tool that aids in transcending your emotions,” the producer explains. “Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. This song pays tribute to how music can counter that. It narrates how music can enhance our feelings.”
Tourist will be touring extensively in February 2026, including a performance at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
