Shy One makes her return with the new single ‘Nort Wess’.

The London-based producer, Mali Larrington-Nelson, carves out her own unique path, with her diverse and captivating DJ performances that draw from a wide array of club culture while highlighting a forward-thinking approach to curation.

Shy One has maintained a close relationship with Touching Bass, the South London-based platform led by Errol and Alex Rita. She returns to the fold with her latest single ‘Nort Wess’, a powerful track infused with bass and a gritty tech vibe.

Categorizing the track is challenging, which is exactly what makes ‘Nort Wess’ so intriguing – it’s a blend of various influences, cohesively tied together by Shy One’s compelling personality.

      She shares…

“I met Errol back in 2016 during an Eglo boat party at Dimensions Festival. We had a musical connection, and I frequently performed at the initial Touching Bass events. We’ve had discussions about collaborating on music several times since then, so I’m really pleased that we’re finally able to make it happen.”

“Since my last release, I felt a need to slow down and simplify (both mentally and sonically), striving to trust my intuition more and embrace a sound that feels truer to myself. ‘Nort Wess’ is one outcome of that journey.”

      Tune in now.
