The Darkness thrilled fans today with an intimate piano performance at St Pancras Station in London.
The band informed their followers on social media that something special was about to happen, leading to hundreds of fans gathering at the station's entrance to greet Justin and Dan Hawkins.
The brotherly rock duo set up next to the station's iconic piano and launched into their beloved festival hit ‘Christmas Time (Don’t Let The Bells End).’
The atmosphere was lighthearted as the duo accepted requests, delivering renditions of Take That’s ‘Back For Good’ and a snippet of Radiohead’s ‘Street Spirit (Fade Out)’ alongside their own classics.
The Darkness performed songs like ‘Givin’ Up,’ ‘Friday Night,’ and ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love,’ among others.
Justin Hawkins shared, “As Santa gets ready to soar with his sleigh of Slays across the starry sky, squeezing through the exhaust flues of the nation’s heating systems, we, The Darkness, are prepping our Christmas tunes for a festive celebration! And what better venue than Britain’s beloved railway station? As commuters rush past, with mince pies crushed in their cold hands, we are excited to play the keys of Christmas Warmth and strum the Lute of Festive Light.”
The Darkness will embark on an extensive tour next year, including a performance at The O2 Arena in London.
Pre-sale for the December 2026 UK arena tour begins at 10 am on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, and general sale starts at 10 am on Friday, November 28, 2025.
