Next year, Dekmantel Festival will enhance its weekend experience with a 36-hour adventure in the forest, designed for the most daring electronic music enthusiasts. The first artists confirmed for the new morning segment, Dekmantel at Dawn, include DJ Sprinkles, James Holden & Surgeon, Jane Fitz, Jeff Mills, and Sampha.
With At Dawn, the festival rewards its most dedicated attendees by creating a seamless transition from the morning lineup into the daytime and then into the night. The schedule at the Amsterdamse Bos will now stretch across 36 hours, offering three additional hours of musical exploration each day.
Weekend attendees will encounter the forest in a fresh way as the RADAR area beneath the trees transforms into a space where each festival day awakens and takes flight. The Selectors, Greenhouse, and RADAR stages will become dew-kissed dance floors, fostering a unique environment for sonic exploration and creative connections.
The inaugural session will kick off with a live improvisational opening ceremony by James Holden & Surgeon. Following this, the mornings will feature special sets like STARGATE, a field-specific performance by Jeff Mills, a live act from Japanese producers Satoshi Tomiie & Kuniyuki, and a rare DJ set by singer/producer Sampha. Cult favorite DJ Sprinkles will present her Deeperama show amid the trees, Jane Fitz will deliver a one-time morning edition of her Colours In The Night show, and Channel One and Colin Benders will offer live performances. Additionally, Eris Drew will highlight the relationship between sound and nature through Mystery of the Motherbeat.
At Dawn is co-presented with Resident Advisor and includes community-focused elements like live discussions, workshops, and listening sessions. Furthermore, the Dekmantel Festival camping will develop its own schedule, allowing seamless movement between the forest and campsite from Friday to Sunday, including afterparties and daytime gatherings.
The complete lineup for Dekmantel Festival’s 12th edition, which will include the opening concerts on Wednesday and Thursday, will be revealed in January 2026.
