In anticipation of her upcoming seventh album slated for early 2026, GRAMMY-nominated metal artist Poppy has released a new track. Titled ‘Guardian’, this song is part of her forthcoming album ‘Empty Hands’, which serves as a sequel to last year's ‘Negative Spaces’ and is set to be released on January 23, 2026, through Sumerian Records. ‘Guardian’, produced by her collaborator Jordan Fish, is a grand piece that follows her recent singles ‘Unravel’ and ‘Bruised Sky’, as well as her collaboration with Amy Lee and Courtney LaPlante called ‘End Of You’, which was released in September. In addition to announcing this new release, Poppy has also revealed the tracklist for ‘Empty Hands’.
