Four Tet is set to remix Sammy Virji’s track ‘925’.
This year has been monumental for the NUKG prince, as Sammy Virji released his debut album to rave reviews. He is advancing the UK garage genre with a powerful sound that explores various elements of the UK dance scene.
His recent single ‘Cops & Robbers’ featured grime artist Skepta, and the producer also announced plans for two remarkable shows at London’s Alexandra Palace.
As the year comes to a close, Sammy Virji has enlisted Four Tet for remix duties. Kieran Hebden steps in to reimagine ‘925’, creating a sonic tapestry – being a noted UKG enthusiast himself, he infuses his unique style into Sammy’s musical concoction.
This collaboration marks a wonderful inter-generational moment; the remix can be listened to below.
