The influential label b4 is making a comeback with a series of weekly single releases.
Before the pandemic, b4 drew our attention as a key incubator for emerging talent. Now, the label is re-launching and initiating a dynamic singles club, kicking off with a new release from Cute Door.
Cute Door started as a project in a college dorm nearly ten years ago, blending trip-hop, icy synths, and crisp pop melodies. The New York-based act returns with the intimate, late-night single ‘Flashlight (Turn Me On).’
Available now, this release marks the beginning of the new weekly singles club, a project aligning b4 with Ripe – a platform empowering fans to support independent artists and promote creative freedom. “Ripe transforms the music industry model: fans and retail investors directly support artists, who maintain control. Web3 converts royalties into tokens with automatic, transparent payouts. b4 elevates emerging voices from NYC and LA, and we are excited to back them,” states Ripe founder Serge.
