ELIZA is back with her new single ‘Cheddar’.
It has been eight years since ELIZA revamped her creative path, embarking on a journey as a solo artist. She has released two studio albums – ‘A Real Romantic’ in 2018 and ‘A Sky Without Stars’ in 2022 – establishing a distinctive and impactful UK-focused R&B sound.
Her upcoming album ‘The Darkening Green’ will be released on March 4th, following her earlier comeback single ‘Anyone Else’.
The new single ‘Cheddar’ is bold and straightforward – addressing an ex, ELIZA uses her soulful voice to reaffirm her worth and value.
The alt-R&B artist sings:
“You won’t make me bitter, it’s not worth my shimmer… roses blooming now with extra thorns…”
‘Cheddar’ is written and produced by ELIZA along with Finlay ‘Phairo’ Robson and EMIL (who has worked with Loyle Carner, Sampha, and Doja Cat), and is steadfast in its purpose.
