Erin LeCount has released her new single ‘I BELIEVE’.
The past year has been a delight to witness for the singer, who capped off 2025 by performing at the iconic London venue KOKO.
As another indication of her ascent, the alt-pop artist's latest tracks – ‘808 Hymn’ and ‘Machine Ghost’ – stand out brilliantly among the crowd.
Now available through Atlantic Records, the new single 'I BELIEVE' is making waves on social media after its debut at her recent headline performances.
With its edgy synths and striking vocals, the song narrates a tale of contemporary disillusionment, as Erin uses it to push back against the status quo. ‘I BELIEVE’ embraces imperfection, imparting a subtle sense of resolution throughout.
Reflecting on the song's development, Erin explains:
“‘I BELIEVE’ is a cynical, existential track that addresses apathy, passivity in your life, and disillusionment with the world around us. It captures what it’s like to seek external validation through various channels – whether it be religion, self-help literature, magazines, astrology, relationships, or antidepressants. The song speaks to the search for perfection, faith, and meaning, all set against an unyielding synth-pop backdrop.”
