Ludovico Einaudi Unveils New Compilation 'Piano Works'

      It's set to release on February 27th...

      Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi has announced his first ever compilation of solo piano pieces.

      The upcoming collection is simply named ‘Solo Piano,’ and it encompasses music that reflects approximately 30 years of Einaudi’s career.

      Slated for release on February 27th through Decca, the collection features 17 tracks, including some of the composer’s renowned pieces. For instance, ‘Elegy For The Arctic’ was famously performed on a floating platform in the Arctic Ocean for Greenpeace in 2016, and the album also includes Einaudi’s most-streamed track, ‘Experience,’ which was released in 2013.

      The collection is available for pre-order now and is accompanied by the new piece ‘Memory One.’ Ludovico Einaudi stated:

      “‘Memory One’ is a unique composition. It embodies who we were, reshaped by who we have become.”

      Ludovico Einaudi will embark on a sold-out UK tour this Spring, including two nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall on April 28th and 29th.
