Il duo psic-pop Gulp ha condiviso il nuovo brano ‘Wildflower’.
La band – formato dall’artista multimediale e musicista Lindsey Leven e dal suo partner, Guto Pryce dei Super Furry Animals – ha aspettato sette anni tra un’uscita e l’altra, periodo in cui si sono trasferiti e hanno ricalibrato la loro arte.
Ora, con base sulla costa di North East Fife, il nuovo album ‘Beneath Strawberry Moons’ uscirà tramite ELK Records il 29 agosto.
Ora disponibile, il nuovo singolo ‘Wildflower’ è un gioiellino psych-pop, punteggiato di suoni synth e di una sensazione di desiderio. Un gioiellino di mezza estate, che indica schemi presenti nell’intero album, mentre si concentra sulle affascinanti peculiarità di Gulp.

“Il cielo vasto su cui viviamo può essere a volte maestoso. Questa canzone parla di crescita, con un omaggio alla maternità e alla nostra piccola pansée selvaggia. Piccola, ma in qualche modo capace di raggiungere il cielo infinito.”
‘Wildflower’ presenta un video animato, dipinto a mano e appositamente prodotto – realizzato da Eilidh Nicoll, l’animazione è stata creata usando acrilici e gouache in una settimana.
