After releasing his debut solo material at the end of last year, Tunde Adebimpe - the lead vocalist of NYC indie favorites TV On The Radio - has announced that his first album under his own name, ‘Thee Black Boltz,’ is set to be released on April 18th through Sub Pop Records. The album, produced by Tunde along with Wilder Zoby, Jaleel Bunton, and TVOTR’s Jahphet Landis, is expected to be a complex, layered exploration of human nature, viewed through Tunde’s insightful perspective. To celebrate this announcement, he has also unveiled a new single titled ‘Drop,’ which is an introspective yet rhythmic track that serves as a follow-up to last October’s ‘Magnetic,’ accompanied by a vibrant, psychedelic visualizer.
