Waxahatchee Releases New Track ‘Mud’

Ahead of her UK tour this summer...

Waxahatchee makes a return with a new track titled ‘Mud’.

The artist, whose real name is Katie Crutchfield, experienced a whirlwind of excitement over the weekend, making a striking appearance on the Grammy awards red carpet with Kevin Morby.

Continuing to move quickly, Waxahatchee is scheduled to perform at Primavera this summer, followed by a series of four headline shows in the UK.

Her new song ‘Mud’ is available now, and it embodies the quintessential sound of Waxahatchee – featuring driving, catchy indie rock rhythms accompanied by Americana elements, with pedal steel and banjo notes providing background textures.

Her poetic flair is still present, as Katie Crutchfield can create full narratives with just a few words – a unique talent.

      Listen to it now.

Catch Waxahatchee at the following performances:

June 8 Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom, June 9 Manchester Albert Hall, June 10 Bristol SWX, June 11 London Hammersmith Apollo.
