LA band Casino Hearts has announced their upcoming EP titled ‘A Walk In The Grass’.
The trio grabbed our attention last year with their track ‘Ice In Mouth,’ which showcased frosty electronics infused with a gothic allure. Drawing some inspiration from Broadcast, they also explore more modern shoegaze elements.
With a distinct sound, the new EP ‘A Walk In The Grass’ is set to be released on March 12th, and they will follow it with a brief tour in the U.S.
The new track ‘Say It For Yourself,’ taken from the EP, is available now; it features a blend of distorted digital sounds paired with ethereal vocals. The drums take center stage, creating a raw sensation, while the haunting guitar riffs emerge from the speakers.
Forest Holter expresses...
“It’s often simpler to retreat or escape into anything that feels less intense than fully experiencing life as a sentient being. This song serves as a reminder to resist that tendency; step out of your comfort zone, put down your phone, and immerse yourself in the world because there’s love waiting to be embraced.”
