Maria Somerville Announces Her 4AD Debut Album ‘Luster’

      It's set for release on April 25th...

      Irish artist Maria Somerville will unveil her new album ‘Luster’ on April 25th.

      Her breakout track ‘All My People’ made a significant impression when it was released in 2019, alongside her frequent performances on NTS. Since that time, she has refined her style and later signed with 4AD in 2021.

      The upcoming album ‘Luster’ marks her debut with the esteemed label and is scheduled to release on April 25th. Additionally, Maria has announced a full headline tour for this Spring, including a performance at London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) on May 10th.

      After returning with the polished, ethereal track ‘Projections’ last year, Maria now advances her journey with the new single ‘Garden’.

      Loaded with her signature charm, the subtle guitar riffs pay homage to the 4AD legacy, while production by Diego Herrera, also known as Suzanne Kraft, adds an artistic flair.

      ‘Garden’ is accompanied by a new music video directed by Anna Heisterkamp – check it out below.
