Rebecca Vasmant returns with her new track 'Blessed'.
The Glasgow-based artist is making significant strides in the city's jazz scene as a producer, DJ, and composer with considerable range. Her upcoming album 'Who We Are, Becoming' will be released in May and features 25 musicians collaborating cohesively.
The new track 'Blessed' is available now, and its ethereal, fragrance-like quality quietly envelops listeners as it emanates from the speakers.
Skillfully crafted, Rebecca's work possesses a three-dimensional aspect, evoking a sound design that feels akin to painting – one can envision her in the studio, treating each element like colors on a canvas.
There’s also a reference to 'Blessed Are The Peacemakers' by Michael Garrick and Norma Winstone in this piece. “I am incredibly thankful to have encountered this track; it has truly transformed my life,” Rebecca shares. “I felt compelled to create my own interpretation as a way to express my gratitude and love for such a beautiful composition”.
