Maria Somerville makes her return with the new single ‘Stonefly’.
The Irish artist’s remarkable 2019 album ‘All My People’ showcased a captivating blend of dreamlike atmospherics, merging her imaginative creativity with elements of dream pop and abstract electronics.
Having signed with 4AD, Maria’s upcoming album ‘Luster’ is highly anticipated and is set to release on April 25th.
The new single ‘Stonefly’ serves as the third preview from the album, offering a moment of reflection. Its subtly introspective ambiance appears to connect with the subconscious, creating a small rupture in the universe that allows for previously unimagined sounds to emerge.
True to Maria Somerville’s distinct quality, ‘Stonefly’ is paired with an evocative music video directed by Daniel Swan.
