Matt Berninger, the frontman of cult favorite band The National, has recently shared details about his second solo album, ‘Get Sunk’. He has announced three intimate shows in Leeds and London where he will perform tracks from the album for the first time in the UK. Scheduled for the first week of April, these special performances will feature Matt presenting stripped-down versions of songs from the album, which is set to release on May 30. He will be joined by Sean O'Brien, who produced and co-wrote 'Get Sunk', and Julia Laws (also known as Ronboy), with whom he collaborated on the album. Additionally, Matt will participate in a series of Q&A sessions with Chris Hawkins, Huw Stephens, and Matt Everitt, providing audiences with an insight into the immersive experience of ‘Get Sunk’.
