The enigmatic Manchester band Wu Lyf has just released their first new song in ten years.
After debuting with their 2011 album ‘Go Tell Fire To The Mountain’, the group retreated from the public eye, yet the power of their music has kept their reputation alive.
Earlier this year, several devoted fans received cryptic messages, and once deciphered, the message revealed, ‘A new life is coming.’
This generated a buzz on social media and Reddit, with increasing speculation regarding the band's return.
As it turns out, the speculation was correct: Wu Lyf has unveiled their first new material in over a decade.
The new track, ‘A New Life Is Coming,’ continues where they left off, maintaining an air of mystery while embracing an unusual, intense vibe.
Released at 11:11 a.m. – as eleven is considered an Angel number – the song was actually already accessible to the public through a jukebox in a Manchester pub.
