PinkPantheress has revealed that her second mixtape, ‘Fancy That’, will be released on May 9th via Warner Records, following the release of its lead single ‘Tonight’ last week. The track sets a vibrant, dancefloor-ready tone for the project, which serves as a continuation of her 2023 debut album ‘Heaven Knows’. ‘Tonight’ was both written and produced by PinkPantheress alongside aksel arvid and Count Baldor, and it visually anchors her upcoming era in a somewhat unexpected setting of Bridgerton-like regency glamour. ‘Fancy That’ is expected to be a genre-blending tribute to various elements of British culture, highlighting themes of playfulness and intimacy while incorporating samples from artists like Panic! at the Disco, Jessica Simpson, and Basement Jaxx. PinkPantheress remarked, "Announcing this tape marks a significant milestone for me as an artist. This feels like the most cohesive project I’ve dedicated myself to, and for my fans who have supported me for years, I hope they can sense my growth as an artist." Additionally, she has announced performances at London’s iconic Brixton Academy this Autumn, with two exciting shows scheduled for September 18th and 19th. Tickets for her Brixton performances will be available for general sale at 10am BST on April 14th; in the meantime, you can watch the video for ‘Tonight’ below. The tracklist for ‘Fancy That’: 1.
