Anthem Vinyl is preparing to launch, marking the establishment of Ireland’s first vinyl pressing plant.
The resurgence of vinyl is one of the most discussed trends in 21st-century music, as a new generation discovers the joys of tangible music formats. New pressing facilities are emerging to meet the rising demand, with the latest set to open in just a few weeks.
Anthem Vinyl has been in development for some time, brought together by several seasoned industry professionals and music enthusiasts. Designed to be Ireland’s sole vinyl pressing plant, it seeks to combine traditional craftsmanship with innovative technology and environmentally friendly practices.
“Our vision is straightforward: to provide artists, labels, and fans globally with beautiful, sustainable records made with care and precision,” stated founder Brian Kenny. “Whether you’re an independent artist, a niche label, or a major distributor, we are here to aid your journey, offering high-quality vinyl with fewer obstacles, quicker production times, and a profound respect for the art form.”
Anthem Vinyl aims to cater to artists and labels throughout Ireland, the UK, the EU, and beyond, aspiring to merge craftsmanship with modern technology.
With a commitment to sustainability and eco-awareness, 100% of waste PVC is recycled at Anthem Vinyl. Furthermore, the plant has partnered with Anglo Printers, Ireland’s first carbon-balanced printer, which is FSC and PEFC certified and oversees all printing, packaging, and surplus waste.
“Amid global sustainability challenges, we are taking intentional steps to ensure our production is responsible, efficient, and oriented towards the future,” said Kenny. “We take pride in delivering records that respect both the music and the planet.”
