Nine months after her third album's release, Nilüfer Yanya has announced her upcoming EP, titled ‘Dancing Shoes’, which is set to drop next month. Following her 2022 full-length album ‘My Method Actor’, the new EP is scheduled for release on July 2nd through her new label Ninja Tune. The EP was crafted “alongside a collection of tracks that Nilüfer revisited with her creative partner Wilma Archer” following her extensive tour for the previous record. ‘Dancing Shoes’ consists of four tracks, featuring her recently released song ‘Cold Heart’ and a new track titled ‘Where To Look’. Regarding the dreamlike song, Nilüfer shared, “We initially started writing it for the album, but we faced challenges getting it going at that time. Then, after returning from the tour, everything just clicked. Melodically, it’s one of my all-time favorites. [I’m] really pleased to have given it the time and space it required.” The EP will be released just before an extensive live schedule for the London artist, which includes several festival performances this summer, a September tour with Alex G in North America, and a string of opening dates for Lorde's arena shows in November.
