Wunderhorse releases their lively new single "The Rope" following their performance on Jools Holland.

Wunderhorse has released an energetic new single called ‘The Rope’. The four-member band, led by Jacob Slater, premiered the track on ‘Later… With Jools Holland’ on Sunday night (1st June) with an intense performance. This new single was created at London’s RAK Studio with producer Loren Humphrey and captures the urgency of the band's latest album, ‘Midas’, which was released in August of last year. Slater shared his thoughts on ‘Midas’, stating, “When we first entered the studio to create this record, the only thing we were certain about was its sound: very imperfect, very live, very raw. We aimed for it to feel as if your face is pressed against the amplifiers, like you’re locked inside the bass drum.” You can view the band’s performance of ‘The Rope’ on ‘Later… With Jools Holland’ here. The group is currently in the midst of a sold-out UK tour that recently included a show at North London’s Alexandra Palace. They have a busy summer ahead with performances at major festivals such as Glastonbury (Park Stage), Reading and Leeds, and Green Man. Below are all of Wunderhorse’s live dates:
