Indie provocateur Baxter Dury has recently confirmed the details of his upcoming album ‘Allbarone,’ set to be released on September 12 via Heavenly Recordings. He has now shared a new single titled ‘Return Of The Sharp Heads,’ featuring vocals from the soulful London artist JGrrey. The track exhibits the dry humor we have come to expect from Baxter, combining a groove-infused sound with biting lyrics. He describes it as “an abstract subconscious rant, criticizing anyone from Shoreditch or nearby, as I speak from my ivory tower in west London.” He adds, “In this process, my own character emerges. It may not always make sense, but it makes sense to me.” You can check out our previous interview with Baxter and watch the official visualizer for ‘Return Of The Sharp Heads’ below.
