Returning with their first release since the 2022 album ‘Heart Under’, Just Mustard has unveiled a new track titled ‘POLLYANNA’ – a cinematic, shoegaze piece that melds intense instrumental segments with ethereal, almost eerie vocals. Drawing inspiration from the character of the same name (known for her unwavering positivity), the single delves into the concept of “toxic happiness.” The release is paired with a CCTV-style video directed by lead vocalist Katie Ball. Regarding the visual, she shared, “We filmed the video using various CCTV and VHS cameras around our hometown of Dundalk, aiming to have as much fun as possible, the kind of fun that makes you feel nauseous almost immediately, which aligns with the song's themes.” Additionally, Just Mustard has announced a series of intimate shows in New York, Berlin, Paris, and London later this year.
