Just in time for Halloween...
Witch Fever is set to release their new album ‘FEVEREATEN’ on October 31st.
The band’s intense debut effectively captured their heavy, grunge-influenced sound, and their live performances showcased their captivatingly wicked style.
The new album ‘FEVEREATEN’ follows this trajectory and will be released fittingly on Halloween. Indeed, the record arrives on October 31st and continues Witch Fever’s exploration of past trauma while sparking new discussions.
Lead vocalist Amy Walpole shares…
‘FEVEREATEN’ is raw, vulnerable, haunting, and furious. While our first album ‘Congregation’ tackled my upbringing in a Charismatic Christian church directly, ‘FEVEREATEN’ takes a step back, revealing horror in the nuances of confronting religious trauma, mental health issues, relationships, and approaching 30 in a world that feels like it's falling apart. Although the album is dark and relentless in parts, it also possesses heartfelt and joyful moments. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and encourages you to seek excitement and life during trying times.
It was an absolute pleasure to write and record this album together. In the studio, we thrived on our producer Chris’ enthusiasm, resulting in a work we’re incredibly proud of and eager to share. Chris is immensely talented, and their passion for music and production is contagious. We hope it resonates with you as it has with us, in a good way, of course.
The band has an exciting year ahead—supporting Volbeat on their major UK headline shows, and also performing at the Manchester segment of Outbreak Festival.
