Throughout the summer, the Barbican Centre is presenting the Rebel Radio Listening Hub in a cozy area of the Level G foyer, where visitors are encouraged to share their memories of pirate radio.
The Rebel Radio Listening Hub is the perfect location to enjoy the season’s selected audio, including Gaps in the Dial, a podcast series by Tayo Popoola that explores the history of pirate radio through the stories of key figures, as well as the Sunday Selecta playlist co-curated by DJ Bid and our audience.
Additionally, you can revisit highlights from Reprezent’s ‘Live from the Barbican’ broadcasts that have occurred in a specially designed studio since June.
The Rebel Radio: Gaps in the Dial can be listened to online and at the Listening Hub in person.
Be on the lookout for free pop-up events featuring special guests throughout the summer. For more information, click here.
