The Streets have released a new track titled ‘Brave St Andrew’.
The project led by Mike Skinner performed at London’s Southbank Centre earlier this year, having been selected by Little Simz to take part in the Meltdown Festival.
The new single ‘Brave St Andrew’ is now available, serving as a tribute to Birmingham, honoring both the city and its residents. The track was released through Skinner’s own label, 45th Generation Roman, and was created for the new Prime Video documentary series Built In Birmingham: Brady And The Blues.
Essentially a behind-the-scenes look at Birmingham City FC’s evolution under its new owners – NFL legend Tom Brady and American businessman Tom Wagner – the series also explores broader stories related to the club and the city.
A moment of unapologetic pride, ‘Brave St Andrew’ is a tribute to a city that will resonate with everyone, regardless of their football allegiance.
