After a vibrant summer with performances at notable venues like Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival, and Leeds’ Temple Newsam Park, indie veterans Kaiser Chiefs have announced a new series of headline shows for 2026. The UK tour will kick off on 13th February in Bradford, including stops in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Swansea, and others, before wrapping up in Wolverhampton on 28th February. Their recent concerts celebrated the 20th anniversary of their cherished debut album ‘Employment’, which was released back in 2005. The 2026 shows are intended to commemorate "the year it really took off." Frontman Ricky Wilson shared: “This summer, we performed numerous shows to celebrate the launch of our debut album ‘Employment’. It went well, probably even better than our first summer 20 years ago. It was the year following that first summer when everything truly began to thrive… So we invite you to join us in February to celebrate ‘the year it really took off’. Whether you were with us during that initial period or missed out due to other obligations, we hope you can join us for a celebratory lap of honour. (And I spent quite a bit on a new blazer and want to make the most of it).” Tickets for the ‘More Employment’ tour will be available for general sale at 9am on Friday 22nd August; see full scheduling details below.
