West Coast trio Joyce Manor has announced their upcoming album titled ‘I Used To Go To This Bar’.

The album, produced by renowned SoCal punk figure Brett Gurewitz, sees the Californian group – Barry Johnson, Chase Knobbe, and Matt Ebert – embracing their signature sound.

Set for release on January 30th via Epitaph, the album includes nine tracks, with the lead single ‘Well, What It Was’ already available.

This single draws from the rich lineage of West Coast alt music, incorporating various familiar influences.

Barry Johnson of the band shares his thoughts…

‘Well, Whatever It Was’ has to be one of the most quintessentially Southern California songs ever made. I detect elements of Jane’s Addiction in the verses, Beach Boys and Weezer in the chorus, and a touch of RHCP in the outro. It was LITERALLY produced by the guy from Bad Religion, for crying out loud. Everyone was really delivering on this one. Joey Waronker’s drumming, TLA’s mixing, and Lenny Castro’s percussion all propelled it to the finish line. This song would rock in a Shrek movie…

The single also features a video directed by Lance Bangs, in which Joyce Manor parodies the popular TV show Great British Bake Off.

      Tracklisting:

      1. I Know Where Mark Chen Lives

      2. Falling Into It

      3. All My Friends Are So Depressed

      4. Well, Whatever It Was

      5. I Used To Go To This Bar

      6. After All You Put Me Through

      7. The Opossum

      8. Well, Don’t It Seem Like You’ve Been Here Before?

      9. Grey Guitar

Combining alt-soul with hip-hop rhythms, SABRI’s music showcases her emotional depth as she shares her story.

‘Sold Myself For Love’ is now available, showcasing her R&B influences. The track seeks to find strength within her vulnerability, celebrating a raw honesty.

In a captivating performance on A COLORS SHOW, SABRI reflects…

‘Sold Myself For Love’ emerged from a place of profound introspection, where I recognized how I would give myself up to hold onto love. It’s about confronting that reality and learning to regain your power after losing yourself in another person. The song carries both softness and strength, representing the shift from choosing pain to embracing freedom. For me, it encapsulates the beauty and ache of letting go.

Debuting this on COLORS feels incredibly meaningful. Their platform truly captures the authenticity and honesty from which this song was created. It’s the ideal setting to share this new chapter of my music, where vulnerability takes center stage.
