Max Baby Announces Upcoming EP ‘BREAK’

Listen to the lead single 'Fakdap'...

Max Baby has announced his upcoming EP ‘BREAK’.

The rising alt-pop artist is making swift moves – despite his debut EP still being relatively new on streaming platforms, Max Baby has revealed plans for a sequel.

Set to release on November 7th, the new EP ‘Break’ broadens his artistic scope and will be showcased through a special performance at The Great Escape’s First Fifty event.

The new single ‘Fakdap’, lifted from the EP, is inspired by a dream in which Max Baby finds himself flying, only to lose control.

Through his lyrics, he explores themes of internal turmoil while seeking a form of catharsis. He shared…

I often have this dream: I jump into the air, rising higher and higher. But when gravity pulls me back down, the ground disappears, leaving me in an endless fall.

At its essence, ‘Fakdap’ tackles the struggle with inner chaos, questioning why things must conclude, searching for a sense of belonging, and realizing that healing is not a solitary journey. It serves as a reminder that if you are facing difficulties, whether related to depression or other issues, it's perfectly fine to seek support.

It may appear serious, but for me, this song transforms that heaviness into something lighter, cathartic, and even euphoric, turning hardship into liberation.
