This collaboration will feature on their debut album ‘YEARN IV’, which is scheduled to be released on May 2nd through Chapter Music. The single ‘BLUSH’ follows quickly after Valentine’s Day, capturing the excitement of attraction.
A gentle hip-hop romance, ‘BLUSH’ playfully navigates the balance between the ideals of true love and the pressures of real life.
Lighthearted, clever, and creative, ‘BLUSH’ stays true to their unconventional roots, resembling an abstract pop song with an infectious beat.
The duo shares their thoughts…
“It’s about savoring true love while facing a less-than-ideal reality. The sun was shining and we had a break from our day jobs, so we were truly feeling it. But you know that feeling at the beginning of a trip when you realize it will be over too soon? The impending return to reality lingered over us, hence the acknowledgment of some somber truths present in this almost idyllic love song.”
