      Portland's versatile artist Aminé ventures into new territory with his latest single 'Familiar'.

      As a rapper, songwriter, and producer, Aminé proves to be a remarkable triple-threat, infusing his creations with profound soulfulness. His collaboration with KAYTRANADA, KAYTRAMINÉ, showcased his exploration of disco-soul roots, and last year he initiated a festival in his hometown called The Best Day Ever.

      A series of unique releases and remixes have kept him busy, and now Aminé is preparing for the much-anticipated release of his new album '13 Months Of Sunshine'.

      Slated for release on May 16th via 10k Projects, Aminé captures the essence of spring with the song 'Familiar'.

      Overflowing with creativity, he reframes modern soul influences, crafting something innovative and unique in the process.

      “You have feelings for someone even when it's not the right choice, but letting go is still tough. I infused a bit of my toxic side into the track as well, but I believe honesty is key.”
