PinkPantheress is set to be honored with an honorary degree by the University of Kent this summer.
The UK pop sensation is among the honorary graduates listed for July 2025, and she will officially become a Doctor of Music during a ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral on July 22nd.
Having grown up in Canterbury, Kent, PinkPantheress later studied in London. She rose to fame in 2021 after releasing a series of tracks on SoundCloud and TikTok, with her early song ‘Close To You’ recently receiving an official release.
Other individuals receiving degrees at the ceremony include Iain Dale, Angela Cohen MBE, Prashant Baluja, and Giles Clark.
This summer is significant for the pop innovator, who is scheduled to perform at Glastonbury before hosting a two-night residency at O2 Academy Brixton in September.
