He’s embracing his love for garage...
Joe Goddard is set to release his new EP ‘Kinetic’ on May 9th.
The London-based producer is currently in a prolific creative phase, having released his impressive studio album ‘Harmonics’ last year. Showcasing a different facet of his artistry, he then collaborated with Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith for a joint EP.
With his new EP ‘Kinetic,’ he shifts focus back to the dancefloor, tapping into his passion for garage. Notably, his collaboration with Valentina, titled ‘Gabriel,’ is named after the timeless track by Roy Davis Jr.
This five-track EP, due out on May 9th, features collaborations with Dynamite MC, SUKU from Ward 21, and Pinty from South London.
Regarding the new EP, Joe Goddard shares…
“This EP emphasizes the club environment more than my album ‘Harmonics’ did. Collaborating with MCs like Dynamite, Suku, and Pinty was a genuine joy, as I’ve been a fan of theirs for years. I’ve been playing these tracks while DJing over the past year. With the recent revival of UK garage, I felt it was the perfect time to return to that genre, as it has always been dear to me. It’s exciting to see it flourishing globally.”
The new single ‘Image And Style’ is available now, showcasing a ruffneck beat that reflects the evolution of UKG from grime, featuring SUKU and Dynamite MC, and carries that vibrant summertime vibe.
