The Maccabees are set to perform a small charity concert in London this summer.

The indie legends are making a comeback, with The Maccabees scheduled to headline All Points East in Victoria Park, London. They will be joined by close friends, having selected a lineup that features familiar faces like Bombay Bicycle Club.

Before that, The Maccabees will host an exclusive, intimate show at the Dome in Tufnell Park on June 20th, just prior to their UK and European tour.

This show marks their first live performance in nearly ten years, with only 300 tickets available.

All proceeds from the event will go to the MS Society, a charity that guitarists Felix and Hugo White have long supported. Their mother lived with multiple sclerosis (MS) and passed away when they were adolescents; the brothers became MS Society Ambassadors in 2016.

Felix White states: “This concert is very meaningful to us as MS is a personal cause. When we learned the band was reuniting, we wanted to contribute to the MS Society again. We’re thrilled this has come to fruition – it’s going to be a memorable evening.”

Hugo White remarks: “Our mum suffered from MS, so we understand the profound impact it can have on young individuals and families. We've consistently tried to raise awareness and funds for the MS Society, and we are excited to host this concert.”

The ticket ballot is currently open here (Tuesday 20th May). Tickets are £5 each, and applicants can request up to 2 tickets per order. Participants may enter the ballot multiple times but can only win once. The ballot will close at 10am on Monday 2nd June. Successful applicants will be notified by 2pm on Monday 2nd June and will be charged £20 (+ booking fee) per ticket, according to the number they requested in their winning entry.

All proceeds raised will benefit the MS Society’s Stop MS Appeal.
